Why didn't Obama get a jump in the Polls from the "America Sucks but I'll Fix It" World Tour?

After the election , we'll look back at his anti-American world tour as the defining moment when America woke up and realized how out of touch with magority of voters he really is.

Questions his former supporters will ask are...

Why did he have campaign events in countries that have always hated America and especially so since the end of WWll?

Why in the world did we disrerard the racist anti-American Marxist idealogy of the church he sought out and was a faithful member to for 20 years?

Why did we not investigate the accusations of more than one person that Obama has had sexual relationships with many men while married to Michelle?

Why did ignore his close relationship with the Syrian born, Rezko who was convicted of political fixing? Obama had a land deal with Rezko that resulted in the Obama's saving 300,000 dollars on the asking price of their home and Rezko recieved no discount for his portion.

Why did we brush aside the facts about " community oganizing" that he did with a known unrepentant domestic terrorist of the 70's?

Why were we so complacent when he stole the nomination from Hillary by throwing out millions of votes by people of his own party in Florida and Michigan?

Why did we go along with his admitted heavy cocaine usage and not acknowledge it for what it is ?...proof of horrible decision making and a message to young people that drug usage isn't something that is important to say no too

Why did we just chant his name and make music videos in support of him, without looking at the validity of his policies, foreign and domestic?

For example, one of the platforms Obama is running on is that he'll , "negotiate with Russia to take ICBM's off hairtrigger alert".

Sure, everybody supports that idea but that was accomplished more than 20 years ago. Reagan and Gorbachev signed the INF treaty in 1987 and hairtrigger alerts were done away with in the early 1990's

Why did we not understand that his tax plan is modeled after socialist countries whose economies have long been in dire straits ?

Why did we just "believe" when the media hide his apparent flip flops on almost all of the important isuues behind a consant screen of bias among their ranks?

Most importantly how could so many Americans be so fooled for so long by a man whose so phony and disinigenuous?

Are we the fat, dumb uncultured country so many in Germany are so overjoyed to call us?

Because it only just finished and there haven't been any polls taken in the last 5 minutes. Except of course for the Gallop daily tracking poll. Of all the polls, the Gallop daily tracking poll has usually had the race as being tighter than any other poll. Today, it shows Obama's biggest lead over McCain ever, at 7%.

I hope he doesn't get a bounce.....but I think it's too soon . The polls next week he may be up. But polls mean nothing now anyway. McCain will win in the end b/c Obama is too much of a risk. The majority of Americans are not risk-takers when it comes to our national leader....and for good reason!

What an idiot. He had NO business being there, none what so ever. If he wanted to learn, as he said, he could have gone and observed. Instead he turned it into a media frenzy, I honestly don't know how anyone could respect him.

Last time I checked, he still only represents some people in Illinois, he hasn't been elected to anything else, he needs a big fat dose of shut the f*** up.

I mean, this isn't even a good lie, either; this is the type of lie you'd expect to hear from an 8-year old. It's quite obvious to me ol' Billy Boy isn't REALLY helping him with his campaign...William Jefferson could spin yarns and even have Republicans biting on the line!!!

Because Smart people see him as Gold plated, not solid Gold. The others are kool aid drinkers who think with their emotions instead of their brains and common sense. In other words, they would vote for anybody that looks good and tells them how he will CHANGE their life.. People, Obama is just another sad Politician, not a Hope for the future. So sad to see otherwise intelligent people fall for this dog and pony act.

Because his "fix" is a weak America that only pleases an ungrateful Europe as they do not like to see us succeed at anything. He brought joy to his muslim brothers. All of America is not so gullible as to believe this guy, and we see what he is all about. Nothing good!

Well, that's not what happened when he went. You know you're lying, so there's really no need for me to tell you. But to answer your question, Obama isn't even back yet, and will probably see more of a bump following his trip, not during it.

To the person below me, you must have not read that he was elected as a national senator 4 years ago. Maybe you should learn about the candidate that you inexplicably despise.

Maybe because people are finally realizing that if he is elected president he would sell us out in a heartbeat just so he could be "friends" with European countries
