Why didn't Obama get a jump in the Polls from the "America Sucks but I'll Fix It" World Tour?

Polls are pretty much unchanged, even though he went around the World and did what he was supposed to. He made a cursory Tour of the Middle East, knowing that as soon as he's President he will surrender the Region to the Extremists. He made appearances with carefully selected groups of Troops, carefully avoiding any unscripted encounters with Troops. He went to Europe and bowed before them, made it clear to them that he doesn't like America either, but that he can fix it by making it more Socialist and plundering its Wealth to give away to the World. He even managed to drop the Race Card a few times,I was impressed. So why no bump up in Poll Numbers?

Yes he is not getting the bump that he thought he would. It might be because even though he draws big crowds, he changes what he says depending on who the crowd is. IF it's union workers, he is against NAFTA. If it is the Hispanics, then he is for NAFTA. If he is talking to Iowa, he is for the 2nd Amendment, if he is talking to New York, he is against it. IF he is talking to Iranians, he is for Removal of the troops in 2010, but if he is talking to Ohio State Students he is for an immediate withdrawal. So maybe people just are not buying what he is constantly changing.

Because it only just finished and there haven't been any polls taken in the last 5 minutes.

Except of course for the Gallop daily tracking poll.

Of all the polls, the Gallop daily tracking poll has usually had the race as being tighter than any other poll. Today, it shows Obama's biggest lead over McCain ever, at 7%.

Crikey!!!! If he doesn't win this election his sponsors will be totally ticked. they are paying for a product that the American people had BETTER buy. But I guess the riots that will ensue if the star struck fans are thwarted will be punishment enough on America. Heck there will be riots of jubilation if he does win so I guess we are hooped both ways. His followers are pumped and bordering on hysterical.

You summed it up better than anyone has so far!! Guess it turns out to be a big waste of the taxpayers money after all! And he isn't even in office!

Well he did go up by one percentage point which doesn't speak very highly. But how does one jump in the polls when so many of his supporters aren't even of voting age? The young and the ignorant generally aren't contacted by pollsters.
