The exterior correct? Easy, "Gunk." Spray it on and let it sit and spray it off, does work, I've used it. If the engine is out of the car, even better.

if the engine is hot you spray several cans of gunk or similar engine degreases on her and let set a few minutes then rinse. I used casterol superclean once and it worked almost too good took my engine paint off.

you can spray a light coat of kerosene on it or use engine gunk that will soak it off and clean it real good then use a hose or a pressure washer on it that cleans them off real good,be careful with a pressure washer they can do more damage than good ,a good garden hose is the best way to get it all off with the use of gunk, good luck.
