I have a computer question?

I am running a relatively new version of windows (not vista) and my problem is that every time I try and delete a document and send it to the recycle bin, it goes there, but before it does it creates a copy that stays in the document folder. Does anyone know how I can disable that copy feature so that I can empty my folder? I have tried the edit feature and "select all", but it still creates a copy of every document. Please help!!

I think that there is something wrong with your computer. You should run a virus scan, but I can not really help you since I don't know your OS.

I am not exactly sure about your question bcoz I am not familiar wid the Windows u r actually using but still I feel that d sticky keys might be activated and u delete d file whenever they r pressed. This feature can be disabled in the Accessibility Options in the Control Panel. Or there might b some problem in the folder options. Some wrong option might have been selected. You can deselect the option by going to the tools tab in My Computer. Then click on Folder Options.

    Hope it works.

No version of windows has this feature. Find what soft is causing it (probably a backup one, or a file manager) and uninstall it.

Direct delete: one click on the file,Shift + Del,ok.

    which version? XP?

Try refresh after deleting or if you want to permanently delete the file.

    1. Select the file

    2. Press shift + delete.

    3. You are done
