    Mdr=Mort De Rire=lol

    I don't know what vaudois means.

    Edit :

    S'il avait dû le faire : if he had to do it.

    Même s'il pense être à nouveau sur pieds pour les Jeux olympiques : Even if he thinks he'll be back on his feet (meaning that he got better) for the Olympic Games.

    "Le vaudois" is a dialect of "franco-provençal" spoken in the 'canton' Vaud, in Switzerland.

    "Un Vaudois" is somebody who lives in that Swiss canton.

    "Les vaudois" were members of the "Église vaudoise" ('the Vaud church'), in English 'Waldensians'.

    In French MDR can mean :

    "Mouvement démocratique républicain", a political party in Rwanda.

    "Mouvement des réformateurs", a former French political party

    "Ministère du développement rural" : "Administration for rural development"

    "Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk", a German TV network.

    "militaire du rang", a military rank in the French army, in English 'NCO', 'noncom' or 'non-commissioned officer'

    "MDR" or "mdr" : "mort de rire", 'dying from laughing' in text speak or Internet slang
