Right now there are no professional leagues in Australia - the lastone folded in 2002.
But there is amateur baseball, and there are a number of players in the majors currently who are from Australia. The link will give you a list.

Yes there is baseball in Australia. They were in the World Baseball Classic and actually took the silver medal in the 2004 Olympics.
