Which cologne has a good smell?

a few 'tips' are in order:

#1: less is more! there's nothing worse than being around people who POUR on any cologne or perfume (i.e., that applies to men AND women). a little bit is enough!

#2: there are daytime and nighttime colognes. daytime colognes are 'lighter' in scent, nighttime ones are a bit heavier. "Just as an example," a lime-based after-shave type product is fine for daytime but too fruity (no, NOT in a 'gay' sense) for nights.

#3: there are different body types and each person has their own natural body scent, so ...some products will smell good on one guy but not on another. finding that out takes time. moms, sisters and girl friends will probably LOVE to tell you "what works for you" and what doesn't.

#4: most big department stores will have a cologne section in the Mens Department ... use it as a resource. Most (if not all) of those departments will have sample bottles. rather than spray a little of 20 different kinds on your arm, back of your hand, etc., a 'wise' salesperson will spray a little bit on a piece of blotter-type paper then let you sniff it. If you express enough interest there, they might even give you a few sample bottles of a few of the scents that you have zeroed in on. Patience is the key: take the samples home, try them one at a time, one per day, until you find one or two that you really like (and that people whose judgment you trust ALSO like) and go back to the store...try to find the same salesperson.

#5: be prepared to pay between $25 and $50 per bottle. Sometimes the price difference for 2 same-sized of the same brand and scent is that COLOGNE is more concentrated (=$$$) while after-shave or 'toilet water' (no, NOT from a toilet!) are more dilute (less scent, more alcohol) so they cost less.

#6: if you use an after-shave (a good daytime product), be sure to let your skin cool down before you apply the after-shave; a cool wet washcloth will do the trick.

#7: there are also what some folks might call 'older man' colognes (or scents) and 'younger' scents, like many of those already named here by other responders.

#8: most importantly, enjoy yourself, have fun.

I even have this Cinnamon fragrance I shop forgetting its call! and peaches fragrance (i loveee peaches!!) my victoria's secret peaches and different plant life (i think of jasmine and cherry blossom) cologne

For something quick, just walk through some Tag, it's to die for! And Abecrombie and Fitch is AMAZINGGG!! <3

old spice. it has that homey scent. abercrombie and hollister are for middle school kids trying to be tough. :)

Lucky, it smells great and its non-expensive.
