Why India lost their test cricket match against Srilanka ?

Due to lack of commitment - dedication - team spirit - commitment - concentration - unity etc.,

The SLs had a perfect game plan. Kudos to the Captain and coach who perfected the plan to enable Mendis some time for a debut.

The batsmen made a huge total, making it easier for the bowlers to bowl freely without pressure.

The Indians were rusty and 'forgot' Murali in their efforts to concentrate on Mendis.

(Rusty: Last they played a Test match was in Australia. They were all "rested" through Summer)

Wicket keeping was not up to mark.

Bowling needed more precision.

Sum total of these and some psychological factors.

The Sri Lankans were just too good!! The M&M combination worked a treat and the Lankans batted superbly!! Well done to the Lankans!!

Also a little bad shot selection, bad bowling from the Indian team had something to do with the loss also!!

Their attack failed to come to grips with the SL conditions and couldn't dismiss SL. Their batsmen failed to come to counter the spin of M&M and folded like a pack of cards.

"Man Behind The Mask", you consistently are saying that SL cheated in some form or other. Why don't you focus on your team's inadequacies instead putting forward these lame, laughable assertions. I get the feeling that you know very little about the tactics of Test match cricket.

India lost the match beacuse indian player means that srilanka is a first class cricket.

And indian batsmen like rahul,laksman,sachin,ganguli are batting too much bad .They throw they wickets.

india lost their match because theywere unable to play the lankan spinners on a flat pitch and also due to loose shot,the opposition score of 600 played in their minds

what do you expect India to do when Sri lankan batters took undue advantage of running over with their spikes and edgy shoes on the flat pitch for 3 days making just 600 runs, they made the wicket a perfect paradise for Murali and Mendis and a devil for indian batters, any team would have crashed to those vicious conditions under the burden of no win situation, Jayawardhan acting unsportively and ensured that India should be out of the game instead of his own win so consumed 175 odd overs, that was certainly not a positive display of the game, there was no way out that India could have survived on that wicket on 4th and 5th day and the only result possible was a loss for India !

It is something like shunting the result by exclusion!

example: if you rule out option A, B or C by beg, borrow or steel, then only option left out is D, lol !

what i mean to say is that they ensured that they don't bat fast enough so that India doesn't get an opportunity to get a bat on the better half of the game, lol !
