Will a relaxer help tame my wavy frizzy hair?
I wash my hair 3 times a week, but I hate to do this cause I use so much product. Every time I wash I use a high end deep conditioner like Fredric Fakkai, L'Orel Expert and a hot oil treatment every time I shampoo.
I went to the stylist today and she that that my hair is in good condition (and believe me it can take the abuse) and soft despite the fact it has some frizz.
I do straighten my hair every now and than, but it's one of those pricey strait irons thats actually good for you hair (so they say) It does still dry my hair out regardless.
I just want to be able to let my hair dry naturally and have it be nice (not frizzy)
So will I be able to relax it with out chopping my hair off? I have been trying to grow it long for the past year.
My hair type is Caucasian, medium in thickness and density. It's REALLY wavy and frizzy but can take lots of abuse. It's light brown but can turn blonde in a matter of minutes.
Can this work? Can you recommend a relaxer that will help me??
Please, Im not looking to be knocked down here. i want good answers no matter god or bad. Please make the eduacted.

My hair is like exactly the same type as yours
I went to the salon (who is my aunt) and she told me that using a relexer will help tame my frizz.
I tried it and it worked, sometimes they have relaxer's for your hair type so have the salon pick out the one that will be the best for your hair.
When I want my hair to dry I Put it in a low pony right when I get out of the shower
then when I'm dressed and ready to style I take it out and the pony will help keep it not frizzy. I apply my product and stuff and then style it normally like half up or all of it down etc.
It will help a lot

To get rid of frizziness try Frizz Ease. When I wash and go it gets rid of that. You have to use a lot though. To get rid of waves...try a really good flat iron.
