Ignore that idiot talking about cures for chicken pox. Chicken pox is a strain of the herpes virus - there is no cure! And you certainly can get it again, but never as bad as the first time. It will lie dormant in the bodies immune system for the rest of your life. That aside, it doesn't sound much like chicken pox as there would be fluid filled pustules which would be itchy. Since your children suffer from excema I would keep an eye on these spots as they may be new areas of excema, possibly related to the change of washing powder. Is it still non-bio? Non-bio is best for excema sufferers and new excema can sometimes present a little like spots. Also, don't be offended but do you have a cat or dog in the house which may have fleas? Sometimes a flea bite can look a bit like this. I've had them before when my cats have had fleas. Spring is the most common time of year for a flea outbreak! I'd go get them checked again anyway so that you can be conscious free at the wedding.

No worries about getting chicken pox these days. Kids get vaccinated for them at 15 months and then get a booster at 4 years old. So pretty rare these days.

Chicken pox is a unneccessary illness. The CDC advises that children get vaccinated against the disease at a year old. All my kids were vaccinated, and have never had to experience the uncomfortable symtoms and scarring from chickenpox. However, most kids who do catch it do so in elementary school.

It occurs most frequently in children from ages 6 to 10. Although anyone can get them at any age. Some people get them twice. Your child can get the chickenpox vaccine and it will shorten the length of the illness and the symptoms will be easier to handle.

It actually depends, sometimes you could get it from another person. But you could also get it from the air...Some people have a pox party for their you children because if you get chicken pox in an old age it would really hurt.

What you describe doesn't sound like chicken pox to me. " how long it took the blisters to become fluid filled?" They're fluid filled right from the start. What did the doctor say about your son's spots?

Most don't anymore since there is a vaccine. My daughter had it at 1 before the vaccine came out.
