I agree, it happens to many of us. I don't have what it takes to muster up much anger over it. I won't give in to the frustration I feel. If they V me, they do. I don't set out intentionally to get V'd, either, but it happens. What bothers me more about it than anything is the time that people here take to put thought into an answer, and really try to help, then have it all taken away for their effort. That is what bugs me.

This happens to most of us and in most categories. There will always be small minded people who get a kick out of reporting because they do not like the answer or they just like the sense of power it gives them. Do not take it personally, it is annoying and frustrating but at the end of the day it is not "personal", they do not know you. Appeal your VN, if it was unjustified it will be overturned, YA is aware that a certain amount of reporting is victimization, but if you do not appeal those who do it will simply get away with it. Responsible reporters are valued by YA, those who are not need to be highlighted and this is done via appeals. Good luck.x

You know I agree with you. Why can't they just allow the seniors to chat IF IT MAKES THEM HAPPY-------WHO ARE THEY HURTING ? iF IT GIVES US PLEASURE THEN i CAN'T SEE WHY WE HAVE TO GET A V It is really dumb. On the younger site too many people report EVERYTHING so I guess they feel they have to do it to us. It's really just JEALOUSY.

I think some people in seniors would be shocked to learn who some of the two faced rats are in here. Just because they know how to talk so you like them, doesn't mean they are what you think. Some of those honey tongued, best liked people are the ones who turn on everybody. I can't blame you for feeling the way you do CJ but you are a good one so please don't leave us.

I asked a question and loved all the responses to "Howdy Doody" the other day.

After I had selected a best answer and everything they deleted it for "Chatting"

"Chatting" is talking and I thought that is sorta what we are doing here. I go a long time in between questions sometimes and when I ask something always happens and there are always Thumbs down too.

Perhaps someone does not like Pagans contribution here. I cant figure it out. Don't feel bad, seems to be happening to all of us

CJ, don't you dare leave us! This stuff has been happening to all of us and we know it's only one or two people doing it. I think the people who are doing it are jealous that the rest of us seem to get along so well and we're having so much fun at the same time. They want to destroy that. We're not going to let them!

Good example of why a few people should never ever be allowed to control the way they are allowed on Yahoo Answers.

i also pick up my share of violations and all come in this section -- since i drift from this one to several others -- i hate to say this but i do believe over all we have in this sections too many thin skinned folks who will report anything and everything == believe they even hate there mothers!!!

edit i have suggested to yahoo it should take the godly power from some and make it a requirement that two would be to report before it became a violation!!!
