Mac OS X Server help?
If im cheap and i want to buy Mac OS X Server fer $500 but now the hardware for the server or a new mac, can i just partition part of my current mac? I have 82. something space free.... so tht leaves a 62 gigs after install and maybe another 10 atfer the stuff ON the server. but can i partition it? or even run it side by side with regular leopard?

I am pretty sure that you can partition your existing hard drive with Disk Utility and install OS X Server although you might want to ask a Mac genuis if that is actually recommended.
The other way and more normal way to do it is to get a slightly older Mac and set that up as your server as servers are normally run as a stand alone machine.
You are welcome to try doing it as a partition but just don't ***** about it if and when you have problems with it.
