computer freezing ( dell )
i am running win xp with a dell dimension 3000 and when i start up the comp it gets into the desk top and after about 30 sec or so, it will stop and freeze up, now i went into the safe mod and it wont freeze up and so i did a virus scan and reg scan and even spy ware scan and nothing, now in looking for answers and what can i do now , i have not installed anything new and i tried setting it to an earlier time before it started
i did not do a restore before this happened after i did virus scan and the others then did a restore , that did not help either

If you restored your computer before this happen one of the drivers for a device in your computer is not working. check your devices in Device Manager.
right click on My Computer > click on Properties > click on Device Manager
Are any devices have a X or ! then you must update it or uninstall and instal it.
