Alas no...well actually I don't spiritually spell well enough to really know if it is working or not.

But I believe that some day a great spiritual spielchecker will rise up from amongst us!

And that spiritual spielchecker will possess great spiritual spielchecking properties!

It's got a mind of its own. My husband wrote a book, which I have been proof reading and editing for years! It's pretty long and there are a lot of "foreign" words in it. After a while the Microsoft Word just quit working and refused to spell check any more.

Loving Auntie Yahoo, no doubt concerned at the sometimes hideous mauling given our language on these pages, has now placed a rather intrusive Overseer to the right of where I am typing.

"Oops! It looks like you have used too much punctuation" it squawks, ungrammatically. ( I think I used TWO commas in a rather long sentence.)

I feel as if I should point out that

"It looks AS IF..." is the correct way of writing what it attempted to write.

Is this awful invader what is meant by

    "Spielchecker"?

If it is, I must have offended mine with my derisory snorts, because it has gone off: sulking, I imagine.

    Damn! It returned just them.

"Oops! It looks like (sic) you have 2 misspelling(s)" it screams at me.

I certainly have no such thing!

Is a 'Spell checker' a 'spelling check', I wonder?

(The damn thing writes bad Pigeon English!)

I can't find a 'Spell Checker' (sic).... unless it is that ugly blue printing.... I'll try that, um.

Aha! I wrote '....just them' instead of '.....just then'. The 'spell checker' DIDN'T see it.

    I love the question!

So much is spiel, and I'm as guilty as anyone.

Random typing would be better than some of the questions I've seen or replies that I have sent.

    Thank You!

Salamun alaikum brother, take time out to go visit regents park Masjid near baker street and ask one of the Imams to show you insha Allah may Allah guide you.

No, and it leaves me spiritually disharmonious to be told I've made mistakes when I haven't. Spielchecker wouldn't like me when I'm spiritually disharmonious.

That's why I just keep this kid around, he's far more pleasant:

I don't need a computer to check my spiels! Heck, I don't even want a person to argue against my views!

    My Spiel speaks for itself.

My Glockenspiel however is in the shop right now.

Absolutely. Every time I post it checks to make sure it is a genuine spiel and not a pesky rant.

Yes, I just checked my spiel a few minutes ago.
