OK, seriously, wtf has been going on??
So, I log on this evening only to see old accounts being reinstated (Congrats Vik and TBL), so I decide to scroll through about 8 pages of activity for the hockey section (seeing as I haven't really been here for a while), and I discover that it is full of questions that have absolutely nothing to do with hockey... And as I'm typing this question I notice a new system for asking questions that seems to be idiot-proof (auto-spellcheck), but still refuses to put the question in the right category (wanted to put this one in "Singles & Dating"). Oh, and on top of all that, it seems that Jude and Tracy Terry have returned. That leads me to my original question: wtf is going on???
As for my hockey question: Seeing as Scotty Bowman has been hired by the Blackhawks, how many seasons do you think it will take for them to win a Stanley Cup? Or at least beat out the Wings for a division title? Or is Bowman too old and won't make a difference at all?
btw, where's 288 and his legion of suspended accounts?

It's a glitch where all suspended accounts have been able to ask and answer questions. It'll be fixed soon if it hasn't been already. What I find odd is how Jude or anyone else whose not on here any more found out.

With the departure of several Regulars recently it's very good to see an old denizen of the Hockey Category.
Apparently, there is some glitch that causes questions to be miscategorized. Yahoo has been working on something over the last 13 days that has made the site whackier than usual, but that's the norm ain't it?
I've also noticed some heightened troll activity but I'm not sold on the fact that it involves any of the real usual suspect(s). Probably just some imposter(s).
Stanley Cup? Well, I wouldn't go that far but the Blackhawks will be heard from in the coming years. Things are looking up for Chicago already and Scotty Bowman can help ANY team.

Bowman does have a little inside knowledge about how the Wings system works... but then again.... so do LANG and Williams that played with the Hawks last season! No big deal. Its not like BOWMAN is behind the bench or GM'ing the team.... he is in a mentor role, which is good, but I still dont think the Hawks have enough experience to make a legit run at the CUP for a few more years.
They still have LANG who is lazy and takes shifts off making 4mil..... Havlat who cant average over 30 games a season for the last 3 years making 6mil a year.... and Khabibulin making 6.75mil a year as a back-up! They need to re-allocate that money into more productive players until they are a legitimate CUP team! Along with gaining valuable playoff experience over the next few years!

I have no clue myself. The question I just asked, Y!A wanted to put it in the football section, which I don't understand because I was in the hockey section and usually the first option is the hockey section.
I think it will still be a couple of years before the Red Wings and Blackhawks are battling for division titles. Red Wings just won the Stanley Cup and added Marian Hossa in the offseason, the Blackhawks are still young and have a couple of years to go.

For real. Remember the one from yesterday about the bruised "member"? I'm hoping its soem glitch, and the people aksing why it burns when they pee are now reading questions about trade deadlines.
I don't know if a cup is an immediate thing, but I think the Chicago will make a big jump this season, with a lot of potential to keep building.

ok yeea i think its **** about all the irrevelant questions lol anyways the hawks are gunna be a good team next year and one of the best in about 3-4 years... their young talent needs to develope more to be considered a reasonable threat for lord stanleys cup but you never know there is always a chance they get hot in the postseason and make it to the finals than all bets are off on whos gunna win

The inmates are running the a$$lyum, or business as usual at Yahoo!
Where's Buffy when you really need her? Sunnydale is in trouble again.Bowman will help the BlackHawks get to the next level, it's what he does best.
This new system said, "Hmm, you seem to have a lot of punctuation"

Mike, join the party! We'll all be sober soon.
Hawks won't beat the Wings for division title, but I see them taking the cup in the next decade.

Exactly, this is screwed up. (My question almost went in to the "Baby Names" sections. While Microsoft just bought Yahoo and I think that is what has happened
I will say 4 years because they need playoff experience, BUT it could be less or more years.

oh god it's hell! The suspended accounts part is good (mostly) but the question sorting is god awful!! I hate the new system.
Yes, Yahoo! I have a lot of punctuation because I use PROPER GRAMMAR. No, I didn't leave caps lock on, yes. Yes I am shouting.
