change vista to windows xp

    Are you asking how to downgrade from Vista to XP?

    The easiest way to do it is to first format your hard drive and then install xp.

    Unfortunately that deletes all the data on the disk so you will lose everything, so make sure you have it all backed up first.

    I download Gparted and then burn the iso to a cd.

    Then boot it up at startup and format the hard drive. Then boot from the windows cd and install XP.

    If you bought a machine from a company like HP you might be able to get downgrade rights. Call them up and see if you can order a replacement Windows XP kit.
