Everyone talks crap about McCain flip flopping but Obama is no better.... just a week ago he was hardcore against offshore drilling now under pressure of losing voters he has flipped to being for limited offshore drilling.... just like everything else he (and McCain) keep sliding to the middle

McCain is the ultimate flip flopper. He's obvious about it, and can not explain why he changes his mind. This points to one thing. He is a puppet. He used to be very individualistic. This past week alone the ads that have come out of the McCain campaign have been ridiculous and shameful. The one comparing him to Brittney spears? The one that is blasphemous to Christianity when it try's to show obama as being the false 'second coming'. I THOUGHT McCain was a good guy. I THOUGHT he had integrity. If you look back at all my political responses you will see that. I was going to give him a chance to win my vote if he continued to be the person he was back in 2000. However, he has dipped to the low-road so quickly I know wonder if that former persona was all a farce. He's dead for me. NO WAY I can vote for him now. Look back at my political answer responses and you will see I am not misleading here. I THOUGHT McCain was a good guy.... boy did he have the wool over my eyes....

McCain! He's the biggest flip flopper in the history flip floppers, you can ask any honest Republican (that is if you can find one) and he will admit it. The McCain of 2000 is far from the McCain 2008. To McCain's defense, since he's now senile he can't help changing his mind, he can't remember what he said 20 minutes ago. But good try, McCain already flipped on drilling, and just remember that John McSame has been changing his mind like you change your underwear for over twenty years.

They are POLITICIANS. Flip-flopping is what they all do. The Mormon flipped on everything that he once believed in, McZombie has flipped on a lot of stuff and I am sure Obama will end up doing it to. I'd be more concerned if they didn't flip. At least it shows that they are open to new ideas and trains of thought. Or it proves that all of them will say anything to get elected

He is compromising to appeal to the middle. He didn't just flip flop; he said he would consider along with raising fuel eff. stds and beginning alt. fuel production. To me its a combination of all alternatives. A lot of these ideas take 10-15 yrs to even be effective. So why not do all of them. Smart guy that Obama. But I do agree that is a nice move to the middle.

I don't remember him being "hardcore" against it...

but, wasn't McCain against it to before?

the oil problem is a big one... most don't think it's worth losing an eletion over...

Obama and McCain have switch positions on major issues. Neither one of them can be trusted.

They both flip-flop, however Obama loses my vote because his policies are socialist.
