Wondering if I am allowed to take this on my flight in carry on luggage?
I have a GPS in my vehicle, can I take it with me on my flight, so that I can use it in my rental vehicle when I arrive? I've looked everywhere for info. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to because you can take other electronic devices on board, like ipods and laptops. To be sure, you can always call the airport or even the airline you'll be using to make sure they allow them on board.

A GPS shouldn't be a problem at all.
However, make sure your GPS has current maps loaded for the area you are visiting. Sometimes the GPS units will have Canada maps, but not US maps (or vice versa). If you're staying in one country, you should be all right.
I LOVE my GPS. Her name is Jill. We spend a lot of time together on the road. :)
