Is my investment worth the outcome?

This question is for the experienced professional.

Ok. I am entering a 2 year drafting program at ITT Tech. The overall tuition cost is some 43,000 odd dollars. In comparison to what a drafter actually makes ( which varies statewide ), is it worth the investment? ( Keep in mind that I am taking out a school loan for the whole dollar amount ).

I graduated ITT Tech two years ago in drafting and design. The tuition is way too high. At the time I had no other option, I was working full time and I could not go to a public university during the day due to work. It really depends on how you look at it. I could have quit my full time job and gone to a public college but then I would have been losing salary from work which would lead me to take out more student loans. ITT Tech can almost work around anyones schedule, this is why I attended. If you are young, dont work full time, or have a very busy schedule I would recommmend looking at other options unless this is the only drafting program in the area.

    No.

This is a for-profit school and ten times the cost of a real school. Find a local community college, you can do drafting for around 1000 a semester or less.

An associates degree is usually 4 semsters.
