R&P Have you ever had any paranormal experiences before
Have you ever seen a ghost, had a near death experiences, or ever had anything paranormal happen to you before?
I have only had one paranormal experience happen to me. One day a door in our house mysterious closed on its own. There was noone that was behind the door and there was no wind that blew the door closed. That is the only paranormal experience that I can think of.
MQ: Do you know any songs about paranormal experiences?
I don't think you are crazy Rocco. I mean, it is a big universe out there. There has to be aliens somewhere out there.
I Am Very Serious, I would probably be scared out of my mind if I experienced what your uncle saw everyday lol.
I would believe you Countess Bathory. I mean, there is nothing to worry about. This is only the internet. ;)
It looks like someone is stalking you Vashti lol.
Wow, it seems like more people than I expect have paranormal experiences.
I am sorry to hear about that Dr. Sarcastic. That must really be scary.
That is ok Jackie. Like I said, I don't assume anyone to be crazy.
That is some crazy stuff JenahsDaddy.
Whoa Darth. I am not even going to ask man. I am sure you have been through enough already. I am sorry if any of those experiences have had a negative effect on you emotionally.
Elly M, I would like to see that photo if you don't mind. Do you have a link for the picture?
Elly, that is amazing. :)
Yeah, Jackie ghosts are real. Just note this for me. NEVER play with ouija boards. Ouija boards are NOT games. Nine times out of ten, they summon demons that interactive with you. That is some freaky stuff.
No, I haven't Jackie, but I have heard bad stories and seen Youtube videos of people playing with ouija boards. I just told myself that I am never going to play with something that might summon demons to your house. Scary.

I have had numerous experiences.
Just a few weeks ago, my mother and I both saw a strange red light in our house in the middle of the night. She was woken up by what sounded like a crash in her room, and saw it on her dresser moving around. Her blinds were closed, and even if they were open, a light from outside would be shining on the opposite wall. I was woken up by a noise in my room the night before, and saw it on my wall. And my windows are blocked up. We were convinced it was my father. He passed on in 2004, and his favorite color was red. In our Irish culture, we've heard that spirits come visit their families in the form of a small orb or light. When my grandfather passed away before I was born, his family in Ireland saw a green orb floating around their house a week after his funeral, and it went out through their window. His favorite color was green, according to my grandmother.
Another time, I was downstairs watching television around two in the morning, and I felt someone looking at me. I turned, and saw a shape in my dining room. I screamed, and the shape disappeared, but I smelled a strong smell like cologne. My mom doesn't wear it, obviously, and neither does my brother. And I don't. Another time, somebody was walking around my room in the middle of the night. (I heard footsteps, and they broke my binder) But I didn't see anybody. Another time, I was in bed, and my door opened, stayed like that for a few seconds, then quietly closed. My eyes were open the whole time. Nobody was there. I even have the audio of the door shutting on my phone. I've experianced that particular spirit so many times, and I call him Philip. I think he knows, since when I hear him, and I shout, "Go away, Philip." he shuts up lol.
My grandmother on my mom's side died in 2002, and after my grandfather died in 2005, my mom wanted to sell his old house, so she made a flyer. She took a photo of the house, and when she looked at it that night, she saw what looked like a person in the upper bedroom window. It looked exactly like my grandmother. They had the same hairstyle and color, and was standing just like her. And the room was the same house my grandmother died in. And nobody was in the house when the picture was taken. We still have the picture, and I can post a URL to the picture, if you want me to, for proof. My mom was convinced it was the spirit of my grandma. And we're not seeing things, since every person we showed the flyer too, asked "Hey, who was in that room?"
And when my father was little, he and his father were on their roof looking at the sky, and they saw a UFO. They had seen blinking lights in the sky, and the shape of it. They took a picture, but when the film developed, the photo was replaced by a gray blob covering the picture.
I believe that spirits and aliens do exist!!
EDIT -- My best friend Lacey's grandmother lives next to a forest, and stories about ghosts in that forest circulate like crazy. Lacey visits her grandmother sometimes (Lacey lives in Canada) and one time, she and her cousin were in the forest at night, and they thought somebody was following them, so they ran back to the house, and they were in the kitchen later that night. Suddenly, somebody threw a saltshaker at Lacey's cousin. The only other person in the house was their grandma, and she was sleeping. The next morning, they found all the pots and pans scattered all over the kitchen. Their grandmother said that never happened before, and they never went back to the woods. And apparently nothing weird ever happened again, until they went to the forest a few months later, and then they found a window shattered and a broken lamp.
EDIT x2 -- No problem, here you go :]

I circled the window with red.
And this is one without the circle:

without the circle makes it a little clearer to see.

a jinn experience actually back in my old house.. i was sleeping on the floor in the living room.. (don't ask why?) but we have an arch that connects the kitchen to the living room. I am sleeping and suddenly i wake up and it seems like my grandpa all dressed up ready to go to mosque is standing there, yet it's like night. Definetely not my gramps.. i pulled teh covers over my head and started praying.. i dare not lift the covers up i was so scared. Next morning i ask my gramps if he was there he says no. Then i said it on the breakfast table and i was scared that people would say that i was lying. Actually my mom and my aunt mention they have seen the same jinn standing right by the arch at night. But half of my family still lives there.. we figured since the jinn was dressed in a prayer outfit and has not done any harm.. it's a good jinn and we are not afraid of it anymore.. but yeah this was all back in India i was about 10 or 11 but boy i will never forget that! This was a life changing experience because ever since i am very interested in the paranormal EDIT: people who don't believe or make fun of ppl who have seen it.. not everyone can see it.. i think you have to be open minded about them to actually see them. i have also sensed that a mansion was haunted after a year later i researched and found out that it was haunted. They will only make them selves seen to people who want to actually see them.

Actually, yes.
One day when I was doing a play at a children's museum, I swear, I kept seeing my grandmother. She used to take us down to that museum all the time because she volunteered there and we would get in for free. It was one of her favorite places to be. She loved to go down there and listen to the children laugh and watch them play and be merry.
She died back in November of 2001, and until I started into theatre at the museum, I didn't go there regularly.
Now I seem to see her there every time I go. Just out of the corner of my eye- watching the kids play, sitting on the front row to watch my play, waiting on a bench outside near the treehouses...
Or else a brigade of old ladies that dress just like her and sound like her.
I think it's a place where her soul is happy.
___
I also have reoccuring dreams about drowning and the beach... so maybe it's a sign of a past life? Pretty unlikely I would drown because I could tread water for hours, and I've been swimming for over 10 years.
EDIT: Dollie, a friend of a friend has a ghost in her house like that. An old man... he'll sometimes watch TV with them, and he'll check on everyone when they're in bed but before they go to sleep.

My freind and I are kind of "outdoorsy" meaning we like to go camping and to lakes and ponds and stuff.
My backyard is huge and we would camp out there all the time when we were younger.
We always had a fire going in this pit my dad dug in the ground.
Well one night we went into the woods to get some wood. And I swear we both saw someone moving around out there and we just took off running back to my house.
I wouldn't have paid attention to it, I would have put it off as paranoia or something, but my freind saw it too. Thta's what scared me. I know there aint no person out there so Im figuring it was a ghost. But it also could've been like a deer or something lol.

I have had quite a few experiences. I have seen two ghosts, and I am pretty sure it was my grandmother. My friends house had a ghost in it that walked down the hallway and into his room then back into the bathroom. I saw it! Was so scary! And sometimes I get the feeling someone is watching me, and the hairs rise on the back of my neck. Pretty freaky.
Don't know any songs sorry. :D

since i have insomnia, i have a hard time falling asleep. a few months ago, as i was attempting to fall asleep, i spotted an odd light in the woods in my backyard. each night i saw this light and i noticed that it got stronger, then weaker and disappeared. the thing that got me thinking is that there's nothing in the woods, and it was too high up in the air to be a person. it couldn't have been a light post, since there's not electricity out there. after a few weeks of seeing it, it never came back.
i almost died once. i was swimming, and the water got out of control.
edit: i remember another pretty odd one. i was at my old school and i was playing the piano that was free in the cafeteria. i was probably the only one there that morning, and as i was playing, the piano went untuned all of a sudden (it probably dropped a whole octave). my hands went numb and i felt light headed. about a minute later, i played the piano and it went back to normal. i checked the inside, and everything looked okay. i have no idea what happened.

How about all of the above Roxel?
Seen a Ghost? Yep, lived in two (count Em) Haunted Houses. I've seen a Full Body Apparition.
I firmly believe that the Ghost of My Fiancee that was murdered has visited Me in dreams on many occasions.
Near Death Experience. Yeah when I got blown up and shot in Iraq. I saw all kinds of crazy stuff while I was in and out of consciousness.
I believe in lots of stuff that the average person doesn't.

Yes, many but really this is not the place for me to talk about it. Because many people will think I am lying so....
*thing of a song*
most hypocrisy songs are about aliens and abductions
EDIT - The dreams I dream at night come true....More times than not things that come to my mind come true and other strange things like this (I cant move things with my mind...now that would be cool)
Once...I dreamt I was talking to a friend, we were in the woods by a lake and we were talking about some artwork that will be on his CD cover for his band. It was a very detailed dream.
A couple days later I was talking to my friend on the phone and the conversation was exactly like the one in my dream nothing in my waking hour would make me think of what we were talking about.
Stuff like that happens to me a lot and messes me up a bit

Nope.
Edit: Now that I think of it, sometimes I smell cigarette smoke in my house, but no one that's ever lived here has ever smoked, and nor do my parents or I. And it's usually at really weird times, like in the middle of the night when I'm the only one awake. But I think I'm just paranoid. Lol.
That's all that I can think of, really.
Edit: Yeah, I don't know. I asked my mom if she knew anyone that smoked that had maybe passed away, and she's like "yes, your uncle used to smoke a lot."
(My uncle, her brother, died in a car crash several years ago.) And she says that she smells it to every once in a while. So maybe I'm not too *crazy*. :)
Edit again: Oh I remember one!!
Me and my friend went to this basketball camp thing at this college that was supposedly "haunted" and so we get there and we get our dorm all set up, and we were like Psshh. Ghosts. Whatever. And then that night, when my friend was asleep, I heard this tapping on the window, and I look out the window and there was nothing there, and nothing that could possibly be tapping it. We were on a pretty high level and there were no trees around or anything. And so I was pretty freaked out. But I thought I was just hearin' things.
So the next day, I went up to the level we were at and I was walking down the hall to my dorm and it was at a time where no one was allowed in the dorms (for some odd reason) and I broke the rule and went up. So when I was walking all of a sudden, I got the chills and like every hair on my back stood up, and I heard like footsteps and I looked around and no one was there. Then when I got to my dorm, I heard like a voice and the tapping! I was like wtf? I got the heck out of there as fast as I could.
But once again, maybe I'm just paranoid. lol
Edit: Wow... I think Elly pretty much convinced me to start believing in ghosts. lol. And this is coming from a total skeptic, who's hard to persuade. That picture's pretty creepy!!'
Edit: Yeah, I heard about those things from somewhere.
Have you ever used one though? I'm just wondering..

About 3 or 4 months ago, I was just in my room, playing guitar. I turned over to the window (this was late at night) and I saw a reflection in it. I think it was a figure of a man that looked to be in his early twenties or so. It was slim, but I couldn't quite see the face of it. My heart dropped and I set my guitar down very slowly and ran into my moms room. It was probably the freakiest thing I've ever seen.

Dreamt of a ghost very recently. But no "direct contact" exp. for me.
Only thing was when I was lying down in a dimmed room on my back in bed & I could swear I every muscle in my body was totally relaxed. But then my head turned Veeeeery slowly from left to right & back again. This after I'd read a few pages of an astral travel book.
