the best way for a teenager to diet

Okay, so I'm 14, and I feel like I should lose weight. I'm a dancer, and we have the constant battle of weight lose and gain. I'm also built much differently than most girls in my grade. I love eating junk food, but I need to stop and think about what I'm eating, but I just CAN'T! I usually think nothing of it. I don't really like to exercise either. Does anybody know of any good, fast, easy ways to burn calories? Please let me know!

There are no easy ways to lose weight! Everything you choose has a sacrifice to it. Bulimia scars your throat tissue, anorexia weakens your bones, pills have several side effects, surgery sabotages your wallet. I'm losing weight, too. The process is very slow and it's easy to get discouraged when you don't see results. But you just have to eat only when you're hungry and stop before you're full. Your stomach grows by almost a third every time you stuff yourself until you feel sick. The next meal, you have to eat more to fill the larger space in your stomach. Take time to actually enjoy the flavor of every bite. You really have to train your mind to cooperate with your body. When you aren't hungry, but you feed yourself, you will gain weight, because you don't need the extra calories your body isn't asking for. Junk food doesn't fill you up in terms of density, it just tastes good because you're used to empty calories. Encourage yourself every time you make a healthy choice. Every time you go out to eat (because restaurants always serve too much), put half or more of your plate in a take-out box. You won't have to cook breakfast. It takes about 21 days to break a bad habit and establish a new one in its place. So try really hard for three weeks to eat only when you're hungry. It'll be much easier then. See how much better you fit into your costume in 2 months.

    Good luck!
