How do I remove windows antivirus pop-ups.
My computer keeps poping up a screen for windows antivirus 2008 and
2009.I went to my programs to find them but they are not there. Help

Those software in fact are NOT anti-viruses, they a rouge software posing as genuine anti-virus products in order to force you to buy the full package. They are malware and should be removed.
To remove them, simply try uninstalling them as you would as other programs.
If they re-appear after you restarted follow the guide on the link below for the maunall removal instructions.

After you have succesfully un-installed them, i recommend downloading the latest free anti-virus (if you don't have one already) AVG 8.0 here: http://free.avg.com/ww.download?prd=afe

You have to get rid of the Windows Antivirus 2008 files and registry entries. Smitfraudfix will delete them for you if you boot into safe mode. Follow the steps on the removal process here http://www.pchubs.com/blogs/windows-antivirus-2008...
