wrist joint problem n locking bones
The joint just where the bottom of my thumb and wrist meet is painful and the joints keep locking. It isnt red or swollen. The doctor said that the joints probably inflamed n gav me an anti inflammatory and iv taken it, it helps quite a bit with it and she said i should stop when it stops hurtn. It doesnt want to stop hurting n im really worried since its my right hand n it pains when i write. what could it be?

It could be one of several things, inflamation of the carpel tunnel seems to fit your symptoms, however it could equally be inflamation of any of the small tendons that run through the wrist.
Try ibuprofen gel, l`ve heard it works well.

The way I look at it, there are 3 basic ways: over-flexing (two basic directions in this one, arguably 3), a twisting inward (or binding) type of lock (two basic directions), and a stretched twist (I can't figure a better way to say that). That third one is arguably a variation on the second, in that you can take a binding lock and stretch it out into the third type.

Athritus, my mum has it in here little finger.
do u experience pain as soon as u wake up or is it the more u use it the worse the pain gets. never listen to a doctor if u think he/she is wrong get it x rayed/ checked, serious things will happen if u don't trust u'r instincts.e.g. my mum has a back problem because the doctors were wrong, she now has two curvigas in her spine and three slipped/protruding disks in her spine
