Musn't shower for 2 days after dyeing hair?
I am dying my hair burgundy for the first time. I am using Garnier nutrisse cream. I just want to know if it's necessary not to shower your hair for two days to let the dye take effect properly????
Need answer immediately. I'm dyeing my hair tomorrow.

It usualy says on the box how long to wait before washing your hair. Most hair dye products say to wait at least 24 hrs. This doesnt mean you cant shower and get clean, you just cant wash your hair. So use a shower cap to keep your hair from gettin wet until then.

I wash my hair out after i dye it, then i take a shower like half an hour later or even earlier. You don't have to wash your hair but wash your body ! You'll smell like cheese !

no u must shower ya hair after wards if u normal do carry on cos hair gets damaged in the process of dyein so condtioning it will work fab plus u can get colour stay shampoo and condtioner

You wash your hair when you dye it! so obviously its fine!
