Should a Cancer and a Capricorn get along?

Yes, they should, if they can learn to communicate effectively and compromise without compromising themselves. I am married to a Capricorn and we get along very well indeed. Cancer is all about family and home, and Capricorn is equally dedicated. Capricorn is more grounded than Cancer which helps to keep Cancer from going off the deep end emotionally---Cancer helps Capricorn to lighten up and not take things so seriously. The crab also helps Capricorn get in touch with their inner humor and deep emotions that are hidden to people that don't truly know them. Cancer has unwavering patience, Capricorn is strong and steady and provides the emotional security the crab needs. They have all the big stuff in common---views on family, money, work, finance. Capricorn in love does not spend all their time at work. In fact, if they are truly in love they can not wait to get home. So, let me ask---what's the problem? :)

It had nothing to do with the Capricorn being logical or practical, it was because he was self center, egotistical and completely void of any type of emotion, not to mention a compulsive liar.

Then again I don't think astrology has anything to do with it, it's more to do with that individual person.

Yes they "should" get along but that is not always the case. I am a Cancer and my brother is a Capricorn and we didn't get along as children and still don't get a long as adults. I do know other Cappy's that I get along with fine. I never did my brother chart so I really don't know what it is about him that makes us clash. But in general yes they "should" get along.

and being earth and water signs they should get along.Myself I'm a Scorpio married to a Virgo,again earth and water, we have been married 14 years and we get along great!
