Hi everyone I have my degree in Anthropology & Religious Studies. I believe in holostic health & healing through real foods & not chemicals. I have studied Astrology since I was a child (so for over 20 years) I also read tarot & have been studying that for about 18 years. I have also started to study about numbes & colors in the past 5 years. Although I know how to read Tarot I ask that you please don't request readings from me. Sometimes I will offer but that's because I know I have time to do so. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T SEND ME A REQUEST FOR A READING! NO ONE IS AN EXCEPTION! Thank you in advance & have a beautiful day.

  • Crochet Jewelry question. I want to make earrings. I am trying to figure out what is the difference between the thread sizes.?

From what I've read on line the larger the size the smaller the thread. I would like to know what is the best size thread for earring? Is it 10 or higher? Thank you

  • Last night I dreamt about my son's father. We are not together and and have never lived together.?

In my dream he came "home" from work, but home was not my current home the set up was completely different. In the dream it seems as though we were living together. The odd thing about the dream other than us living together was he undressed and was in boxers the baggy kind - this is not the type of underwear he nomrally would wear. He was also rather affectionate with me. Sitting on the bed in his baggy boxers - just affectionate this was not a sex dream. Any insight would be helpful thanks.

  • Bank account being garnished from an old debt (over 12 years old). What is are the exemptions to this?

I am currently unemployed & I am not going back to work anytime soon. I recently had a baby who was severely premature and requires a lot of care. I lost my job (I didn't make that much before) and now I am going to have to live off SSI until he is older.

The money I had in the account was my tax refund which I was holding on to so as a down payment on a place.

Is there anyway of getting around this? Or am I now homeless because of a debt collector that refuses to write off a debt that is over 10 years old?

  • I would like to make this dishcloth into a blanket for a friend who loves sunflowers. What would be the best way to convert the pattern?

    http://www.yarnspirations.com/pattern/knitting/sun...

I would still be using size 8 knitting needle but probably a different yarn like maybe Simply Soft by Caron.

    Thank You!

I would like to make it about the standard throw blanket size. I believe is around 60 inches.

  • Is this just as good as giving money? The last few years I've noticed that people who are begging for money seem to have an attitude with me?

like I should give them more than what I gave them. This really hurts my feelings because I've actually be unemployed, underemployed & at times in between places to live. I had a women who was probably living in low income housing ask me if she could have a dollar or two so she could buy a hotdog from the hotdog stand. I only had $2 & that was my last $2 until the following week. I had the $2 in my pocket & I gave her one of the dollars & instead of saying thank you she said "I said a dollar or TWO" indicating I should give her BOTH dollars. Her friend (these were elderly women) was the one who thanked me for the dollar & I just said you're welcome & went on my way.

Then just last week this man asked me if I could give him some money. All I had was $1, I gave it to him & I saw the look on his face when he saw that I gave him just $1. I don't understand how someone who is begging for money can get mad at someone for giving what they have. I'm not working either! If a smile is considered charity can I just smile at them when they ask? Because I'm tired of people being disappointed in my $1 that I really can't afford to give away either. A simple thank you would be fine really - anything but the disappointment or entitlement that some of these people have when you actually stop & help them. So if I smile is that just as good as giving them the money?

  • Had an emergency cesarean in December I was told to get up and start walking around right away. By the 3rd day I was walking more and more?

instead of using the wheel chair to get back and forth between my room and the NICU.

It was still painful like if I walked too fast it would hurt A LOT.

Slowly I started to incorporate working out back into my life. Once I was cleared to work out again I started off slow just some yoga or some Pilate's. What I've noticed is that my incision still hurts over the last few months - if I stretch a certain way or even if something brushes up against it. Sometimes it will hurt like a day or two after I've worked out.

Its been about 5 months since I've had my c-section and now I noticed that when I do work out (say like doing Jillian Michael's 30 days shred) my stomach looks bloated. Like instead of getting smaller it looks like its full of fluid. But if I don't workout for a few days it doesn't look as big as it does when I do work out.

What can I do to get rid of this extra stomach! Or at least get it to shrink?!

A friend told me it can take anywhere from 6 months to a year for me to feel back to normal but why is my stomach size increasing instead of shrinking after working out?

  • Was I wrong to my friend? OK so my friend has been going through a lot & has decided not to talk to her family, she has gone as far as to?

turn off her phone & get a whole new phone & number. I gotta text from her old phone asking me if I was available the following day. I responded I said that I thought this number off & who is this.I thought maybe someone took her phone & turned it on I also said that if this was my friend I would be available for HER. I responded to the text right away. Well I got no response at all, about an hour later I text her new number letting her know what happened. She said she knew that it was her. I replied that she should call me in the morning because I was free & we could do something that day.

Well my alarm didn't go off the next morning so I text her right away letting her know I was up & what time I was planning on leaving the house. She calls me about 30 minutes later with an attitude. Saying that she didn't feel she needed to explain herself & she just wanted a yes or no answer if I was free. & then made it sound like she was punishing me about making other plans. But this is the thing the plans she made was BUSINESS she NEEDED to take care of! She had errands to run paperwork to fill out she also told me she was falling asleep when she text me & was blaming me saying that I didn't text her back right away - which I did. But she was so stuck on thinking she had to explain her self when all she had to say was no this is me meet me here tomorrow.

I'm very understanding & if you say you don't want to talk about it I don't pry. Was I wrong to her?

  • How should I handle this issue when I go to court.?

Over 10 years ago I consolidated my credit cards but lost my job so I could not finish paying off my debt. One of the credit cards that were part of my consolidation tried to take me to court for the full amount which was about $1,000. Now this really doesn't add up because the limit on the card was $1,000 I wasn't near the limit when I decided to consolidate my credit cards and it was less than a year after losing my job that they tried to take me to court. I didn't go to court and now 10 years later I'm being asked back to court about this same debt which is now apparently $1500 (I'm rounding up).

This time I'm going to go so I can clear things up. In the past 10 years I really haven't been able to find a steady job most of my jobs have been seasonal retail jobs. I did get my degree but haven't been able to get work in that field and now I just had a baby so my money is really tight. Is there anyway I can get this resolved without having to pay the full amount? If I show my tax receipts for the last 10 years to show that I'm extremely poor they will drop the case or reduce the pay amount? Also I thought after 7 years they forgive debts? Currently I'm unemployed & am trying to find a place to live.

  • Do you think handmade gifts like knitted items are a bad idea?

A few friends have been helping me lately since I lost my job. I would like to repay their kindness. I won't be returning to work anytime soon but I do knit. I have a bunch of yarn that I've been wanting to work through my stash. I was thinking of maybe making them thank you gifts.

We live in a cold weather state so its not like my gifts would go unused. I am just wondering if this would be a bad idea or not. I was thinking of making items like a hat and scarf set or an afgan. I feel like a Thank You card is not enough. Please tell me your thoughts.

    Thank You.

  • How would be the BEST way to suggest someone not bring a dish to a party?

OK so my mom throws a viewing party every year for the Academy Awards. One of her friends started to bring a spinach dip that no one likes. I feel bad because I feel like its a waste of money for her to buy it and make it. We honeslty have enough food & my mom didn't ask her to bring anything just for her to show up.

No one wants to say "hey your dip is nasty!" So what would be a gentle way to let her know next year NOT to bring that dip without saying it?

  • Do you feel that if you want to celebrate yourself on your birthday it is in your best interest NOT to attend?

an event that could take away from your own personal celebration?

I'm only asking because I don't want to tell my friend "I told you so", she went to a baby shower on her birthday and I guess nothing went as planned.

The mom-to-be is one of her oldest friends and so most of the people at the shower were people who she grew up with and consider family as well.

I'm on bed rest or else I would of made plans with her to celebrate her birthday. The short story of this is due to my friends car being in the shop and her cellphone wasn't working she was pretty much at the mercy of whomever she was with. Apparently they made plans to go out after the shower but didn't.

I talked to her while she was getting ready and I had a feeling that things were not going to go as she planned. I told her that I think she should cancel since this friend has a history of selfish behavior I told her I don't think they were going to actually celebrate her birthday after the shower.

Now my friend is very upset & I just don't want to say I told you so. We haven't talked yet so I don't have the details but I'm not sure what to say to her. (I only know the night didn't go as planned due to her comments on line).

What would you say to your friend?

  • Is it illegal in the state of Ohio to let someone go after emergency surgery? Stating that they cannot keep?

you in the system for 6 weeks. The 6 weeks that it takes for you to recover and get cleared by your doctor to return to work. The company also only employs people as part time. So full time workers are only the managers and all the rest of the workers are part time. Is there some sort of loop whole for part time workers? Or is this completely illegal?

  • Had an emergency C section on 12/13. My bleeding stopped about 7-10 days after that. Basically had yellowish?

pinkish discharge on and off. The other night I started to spot dark red blood. Sorta brownish but still red. Today it looks more like my period. Not very heavy but a normal flow. I'm not soaking through pads. No gushing of blood - just like a regular feel of blood releasing onto the pad. Like I said it a dark red not bright red. I am pumping (can't breast feed he is in the NICU) but I am pumping breast milk for him.

I am going to call the doctor office tomorrow. Just wondering if I should be really concerned or if this is normal post- opt stuff? I mean I've gone basically a whole week and 1/2 if not more of not really bleeding just having a discharge. Is my uterus still shrinking?

  • Issues with lactation?

My baby is 2 weeks he is in the NICU. I was in the hospital for a week and 1/2 I tried to pump every 2-3 hours like they wanted - I wasn't very successful keeping a schedule at the hospital. I was constantly interrupted with visitors and doctors and nurses. Also my medication put me to sleep (I had an emergency C-section).

I have been home for about 4 days now & I've noticed that although I've been better about pumping in the time period they say my milk supply has gone down greatly. This has me very concerned as I really want to be able to breast feed when he comes home.

The last time I pumped my one breast didn't do anything - I mean if I squeeze it I can see milk coming out, but when I pumped it was almost like it was dry. The other breast will produce less than 20ml. This morning I produced about an ounce between the two of them and as the day went on less and less.

Am I dried up that quickly? What can I do to improve my milk production?!

    Thank you!

  • How much more butter should I add to my chocolate chip cookes to keep them soft?

I use a very basic recipe:

    2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

    1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature

    3/4 cup granulated sugar

    3/4 cup packed light-brown sugar

    1 teaspoon salt

    2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

    2 large eggs

2 cups (about 12 ounces) semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips

They taste REALLY good but my only issue is that they get hard in less than 24 hours no matter how quickly I put them away. I know that adding more butter can keep them softer longer but I'm not sure how much more I should add? Also would I need to add more of another ingredient?

  • What is a good lip moisturizer?

I guess I tend to go for chap stick type moisturizers for my lips. In the past I've used a 100% pure coco butter stick now I'm using Burt Bees lip balm with honey. I'm thinking I should be using something that isn't a stick. I don't want to use anything I have to dip my finger in because a lot of time I'm at work and I can't always wash my hands before using the product. I work with the public so I want something I can keep in my pocket and easy apply. I don't want to use Vaseline but I'm leaning towards a moisturizer that does squeeze out of tube. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks

  • Question about tipping.?

My brother & I had a disagreement about how much to tip - he has worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years & is a chef. The other night we took my mother out to eat my father ended up paying but couldn't go so he asked that my brother & I paid the tip. Our meal before tax ended up being $61, I pulled out my little tip card that I've had for years it gives the amount for a tip for 15% & 20%. My brother got angry when he saw my tip card and told me I should know how to do the math (math has NEVER been my strong point & don't see anything wrong with my card since I don't want to cheat anyone). I always tip 20% I told my brother according to the card that the tip should be $12.20 whenever I see change I always just round up so I would of left the server a $13 tip which I think is fair. My brother started to talk to me like he was scolding me telling me that you should never leave change (which I don't) and that it should be 20% or more which goes to show you he isn't good at math either because he thought the $12.20 was the 15% amount.

So then he demands that I pay $10 and he put an additional $11 with my $10.

I was just a bit annoyed because I am not cheap I think 20% is fair and I always leave a tip. Also I didn't think our server was that great. I didn't like how she just left our table cluttered she also seemed annoyed when I ordered Iced Tea. So am I wrong for just wanting to tip the average 20% for average service? My brother made it seem like I was the worst tipper ever! I have gone out on dates with guys who think that the servers shouldn't be tipped at all because its their job and I've always left a tip on the table for the server at the end of the meal.

  • I need some help figuring out how much to cast on I want to make this blanket to measure?

close to 30 by 30 its OK if its a little less than. I'm planning on making up the size by adding a border. The issue is I only have one ball of yarn the measurements on the package says 446 yds / 408 m

US 6 4mm 4x4 inches 10x10 cm 30 R 22S can someone please help me! I'm on a time crunch I'm thinking of either doing a basic garter stitch or a basket weave (basket weave is multiple of 8 plus 3 stitches). I just need to know how many to cast on to get me as close to 30 by 30. I am knitting this also I'm using a size US 7 needle because the 6 just feels like it takes forever to knit up. A baby blanket usually is about 36 by 36 so I'm planning on adding a boarder to make up for the lack of yarn. Thanks!
