What are the must thing to see and do in Toronto in 1 day?
I will be in Toronto next weekend for 2 days. But sadly, I only have 1 full day, Saturday to sightseeing around. I would really appreciate if any suggestions that I must see or I must do in Toronto for such a short time. This is my first time going to Toronto. Thank you!
Thank you all for valuable information!

The place I love the BEST in T.O is the Distillery District Downtown. I absolutely love that place; it's really old-fashioned and the stores and cafes are built in huge, old warehouses. Here's a link:

I would recommend going to the Bakery and buy a chicken or meat pie, it's absolutely to DIE for. Other places I would recommend are...
- CN Tower
- Waterfront/Harbour (downtown)
- DOWNTOWN in general, drive around and find something touristy
- Eaton Center Shopping Mall
- Yorkdale Shopping Mall

CN tower
Toronto Island
Casa Loma
Yorkville shopping district
Unionville
Little Italy and Little Greece neighbourhoods
Yorkdale and Toronto Eaton Centre shopping malls

I would makes sure I visited Toronto's two icons, the Hockey Hall of Fame and the CN Tower as a minimum (and in that order since the Tower is open later than the HHOF). You can probably park near the HHOF and walk to both. Anything else depends on what time you have left and where you choose to eat.

Besides grandma, grandpa, and the cousins my kid's vote is the CN Tower.
Especially the glass floor. They love that thing.
My wife....shopping. Big freaking malls.
I like getting out of town to the family's cottage at Long Point because they won't give me an opportunity to kayak on the Credit River. A great place to launch is about 5 minutes walk from the grandparent's home.

The best way os to book ourself on one of the full day or half day sightseeing coaches- Most hotels have brochures , or car rental offices have them too- Its easier and less time consuming when you get on these coaches and they cover the main places of interest- If you cannot get to the brochures you can go on line and check that up as well, book yourself on line too
enjoy the weather is just great right now!
