Alternative to Adobe Reader to read PDF files?

Hello. I need your help. I have done something and I don't really know what to my Adobe Reader 8 (I think I have shredded some of its parts and files and destroyed it) and I can't use it anymore. I'm not able to recover it, run/open it, read PDF files, even uninstall or upgrade it. It's now a useless and broken piece of software (like an unusable broken mug with a hole at the bottom, but even worse because it can't even be fixed at the slightest or even to get rid of). So, can you RECOMMEND TO ME A NEW PDF FILES READER that is FREE, has GOOD FUNCTIONALITY and IS QUITE POPULAR??? If you can recommend to me a free PDF-reading program that is brilliant, then I will be grateful. And perhaps there's another Adobe product that can do the job, I just need your help.

Adobe Reader has always been too bloated and clunky to be of any real use (which is why I use Preview for all of my PDF files on my Mac). Foxit Reader is a lightweight alternative for Windows that works pretty well. You can download it for free here: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php

There are a number of programs (free) that will convert Word, Excel, etc. docs into pdf format. Once installed they show up as a printer. Very easy to use, but they are not editable or searchable. For that you need a commercial program.

I don't what you did to your Adobe application, even you can't uninstall and reinstall back. As far as I know, PDF is trademark of Adobe so I doubt you can find other application to read it

If you are searching for Adobe Reader you can download it for free here http://bit.ly/1jW5VmX

You need to have Adobe Flash Player to be able to open pdf files.
