How do you answer a question here? I'm fairly new to "Yahoo Answers."

You just did it.

Go to your computer

press the on button

choose the user name

wait a couple of hours if u have Norton Virus checker

click the Explorer button

click the Answers button on the Yahoo! toolbar

click the sign in button

type in your email address

type in your password

click sign in (I think)

then click to select a question you want to answer

Click on the Answer this question button

type in your answer

argue with the spell checker

click submit

take a coffee break with Yahoo!

wait a minute - I think maybe you already know all that :-) you got a Best Answer a year ago lol

Of course you can't answer resolved questions. They don't need answers because they have been resolved. I prefer a different method than click on the "answer" link above. I think it works best to look for categories you might have an interest in. You see that each category shows a list of open questions. Pick a question you might want to answer. You'll see the "Answer this question" button beneath each question. I think this works much better because you're in categories you know interest you.

Find the tab that says answer. click it, scroll down, and look for any Open question to answer, click on the question in blue, which is a link to take you to view the question, under the question will say Answer This Question, click it then type your answer down, in the space box, then click Preview, and click Submit. Answering questions earns you 2 points each. Resolved questions cannot be answered, since they already have their best answer, and they don't need any more answers to it.

Each question has a 4-day "open" period during which you can post an answer.

Just go to any question in the Open Questions section

Click on the blue "Answer this Question" button to start.

Enter your answer in the Your Answer field

Include the URLs of any sources you want to reference in the Source(s) field.

you click on answer. If you see a page of a bunch of questions click on the one you want to read and right under it once it opens is a box that says answer this question. Click that, type your answer select preview then select submit on the next screen . EASY

ITS RIGHT IN FRONT OF U!!! Answer this question right there!!
