I bought a Visa gift card at CVS, how do I register it for online use?

I want to buy stuff online, but I have to register it, how do i do this?

    With the card there should have been directions for registering the card. It's usually either done by calling a number indicated or visiting a website. If the cards at your CVS are the same as by my, it's probably a Vanilla Visa card. Just go to their website (vanillavisa.com if I remember correctly) and register the card. It may take up to 3 hours before the card can be used online.
