Is this another secret punishment?

So, I had the audacity to challenge one of Y!A's arbitrary and pointless 'reports' - and now, strangely enough, it won't let me answer questions! Sure, I can view them and even write an answer - but the instant I click 'Submit,' they're suddenly taking a coffee break!

There's one question I've been trying to answer for several hours - over 100 attempts - and it shows the 'coffee break' message EVERY TIME! I can go anywhere else, view any other part of the site, but any time I try to submit an answer it says they're on a 'coffee break' again.

I hereby publicly accuse Y!A of engaging in secret punishments of anyone who dares to disagree with them. What do you all think?

HMMM, that's funny - that happened to me just a little while ago. But I was trying to add onto an answer and it was within the community guidlines too. I always thought it was just that the system was overloaded, etc.

    It's no conspiracy. LMAO

    Coffee Break/Breather.

It is when they are fiddling with the system.

This can often be bypassed by back clicking, waiting a few seconds and then continuing.

If that doesn’t work try another country.

Click on a flag at the bottom.

I am on Yahoo Australia and if we are having that problem so I switched to Yahoo New Zealand.

Check that you haven’t done your daily limit.

If you are using the percentage button that will also bring it up.

Calm down, it's a technical glitch since the last update.

Try this. If you have a 'percent' sign in your answer, remove the symbol and spell it out like I just did. Same thing if you have a 'plus' sign. Try posting again - it'll probably go through (if not, look for other special characters and fix the same way). If it posted, you can go into 'edit' and put back any symbols you had to take out.

    Good luck.

I think that you are just imagining it. Other people including myself get similar messages at random intervals. The fact that you may have a different opinion of some aspect as those of the web-masters of yahoo Answers can only be a coincidence. If they were intending to punish you they would block your account.

Well, they definitely engage in censorship. Obama supporters aggresively report any question that goes against their candidate or questions his "leadership."
