Talk to her. Get to know her. And then tell her how you feel. But don't go up to her right away and say "I like you." She would think you were weird or something.

Continue talking to her. Get to know her since you said you never had any major conversations. After getting to know her, then you can ask her to hang out with you. You can go do a fun activity together. After that if you like her, ask her out.

When you go back to school, try making small talk with her. Ask her how her summer was, what kind of music she likes stuff like that. well i think its a good opportunity to confess that you like her next time you see her,but obviously dont just ask her out next time (too fast) do it in a cute way, just ask her to hangout with you sometime
