Where can I donate books?

I am moving and found that I have books that I will never open and read. I want to get rid of them but I know it could be of good use for someone else.

Either your local library or maybe you want to see if there are any nearby schools that need more books (depending on what sort of books you're giving away).

Try your local library ... many of them have a shelf where they sell the donated books and use the money to buy books they need.

Try a library, or donate them to a charitable organization, like Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.

Your local library should take them... but it'd also be very nice if you donated them to a local homeless shelter or a shelter for battered women and children. Many people don't think about it but shelters love to have books and magazines donated.
