How do I set individual ringtones per caller on my Blackberry Curve?
I have a Blackberry Curve from T-Mobile and I want to set an individual ringer for different callers. Like for my boyfriend I want it to ring with one ringtone and for my mom a different one but I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I went into my address book and already set the custom phone tune but when he calls it just rings as my default. How do I change this!??!
nerd04- i already went into my address book and clicked edit and went to "Custom Phone Tune" and changed the ringer to a different one but it still rings as my default.

Regarding your Additional Details... that sounds like the phone isn't recognizing the call coming in as belonging to that specific contact.
Is it possible you have the contact phone number more than once in your address book? I have my sister "Elizabeth" and my sister "Elizabeth old" (which has old address information that I wanted to keep) but the mobile is the same on the two entries so the wrong one is selected when the phone rings.
One thing to try is when the phone rings from that contact, check which contact record it's selecting, and if no contact is selected check the format of the phone number and make sure it's identical - as much as possible - with the phone number in the contact record.
Hope this helps!
