  • Termite Problem in apartment?

My friend lives in a kind of shady apartment complex and last night found termites on her couch.. so this morning she called her apartment manager and they said the termites are coming out because of the heat & they aren't going to do anything about it.

I don't know much about termites but I'm assuming if they are on her couch that's probably not great. She also has a dog & a cat and I'm not sure if they affect them or not.. .is there anything she can do to get her apartment to take care of the problem?

  • Can I use buttercream frosting with fondant decorations?

I'm making my little sister her bday cake and I was wondering if I could frost the cake with buttercream and then use fondant stripes (for zebra print) and stick it onto the cake that way? Because fondant really tastes horrible.

  • Purchased a work Van, but the original owner took it back how can I get my money?

My company purchased a work vehicle from another company who was going out of business a few months back. I had bought it from one of the owners of the former business (the other owner had already parted ways) I made a deposit and 3 payments on this van for over $1600.00 and just this week the former owner (not the one that I purchased from) took the van back because it was in his name and rightfully his. I contacted the person I had bought the van from and they said they couldn't do anything about it. We had an agreement and I've already paid money for this van, how do I get my money back??

  • When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer how do you get them to back off?

My boss is OBNOXIOUS. And will ask me the same question over and over and over. The question is never relevant and always stupid. I'm sick of answering them. Sometimes I'll just ignore her, other times I'll walk away or tell her "I don't know" how can I answer her to where she will just leave me alone?! I will genuinely not know the answer and tell I don't know and she will CONTINUE to ask. I don't wanna be mean either but I really just want her to STFU and leave me alone.

  • Would any gas grill work with a 2.5 gallon propane tank? Or what do I need?

Because of a new city law the biggest tank we're allowed to have is 2.5 gallons in our apartment. We have a charcoal grill that we just gave up. We want to get a gas grill, can we just buy any grill or do we have to buy a specific one since the tank can't be more then 2.5 gallons?

  • Any one know this song?? Help!!?

I cant for the life of me figure out who the artist is on the Dave Chappelle show.

You know RIGHT before he comes out there are some heavy bass beats but they fade it out so he can do his opening jokes?

I heard the song at a reggae concert but I think it was a mix. Now I can't stop searching.

  • Gas Grill, What should I get?

Our city just passed a new rule that you cannot have more then a 2.5 gallon tank of propane. Well I was wondering are there any gas grills we can buy that can work on that?

    Open to any suggestions.

Charcoal is not allowed at all.

  • Trade in a vehicle?

I'm going to get a new car and probably lease it and trade in the one I currently have. Should I go and fix the things on my current car like now it needs an oil change and a smog and other misc items or should I just go and trade it in and see what I can get instead of paying the money to fix it? I obviously want to get the most I can so what would be the better route?

  • Running an illegal business??

I think that someone I know is doing things illegally here in California. I know for a fact that they pay their workers cash and do not put them on payroll so that they pay no taxes. They also hire a lot of illegal immigrants and just give them cash at the end of the day. They do different jobs around the bay area and they have no invoices.. nothing. Is there any way to report this???
