Cheap vacation to vegas.. which hotel is best?

Looking for a super cheap deal. Hotel options are Circus Circus, Excalibur, Sahara, or Riviera?

No kids. Just me and my boyfriend (both 22 and have never been to Vegas). Planning on going at the end of May. Would like to visit other hotels/casinos while we are there. Any advice is appreciated.

I agree. Excalibur is the best of these. Good location with easy access to the Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand and New York New York - Lots of restaurants to choose from among these hotels and a number of attractions to check out such as the Rollercoaster at New York New York, Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, Lion Habitat at MGM Grand and loads more.

I also think that Excalibur is your best option of those you listed. The others are all pretty shabby, and in a bad location. Excalibur isn't a fancy place by any means, but it's the nicest and is in the best location. You'll be on a busy corner near several other casinos, with a lot of options for restaurants, shows, entertainment, etc. You won't have so many easy options at the other hotels on your list.

You can also walk pretty easily to a lot of other hotels to check them out, and those that are too far can be easily accessed by bus or monorail (which has one end at MGM, just across the street from Excalibur).

I would recommend the Excalibur if you are only choosing among those 4 hotels. Excalibur is by no means a top notch hotel but compared to the other it is the best. Personally I would check out some other hotels. New York New York is a solid bet and they have room rates at $50 a night.

You can visit any casino regardless which hotel you pick but can only use the pool where your hotel is.

Of those you listed I would select Excalibur due to location. Excalibur is connected by indoor walkway and free tram to Luxor and Mandalay Bay, across the street from Tropricana, MGM, and NYNY & Monte Carlo. At Monte Carlo you can take a FREE tram to Mirage and other casinos.

The others are at the far north end of casino, nice but not as many casinos to enjoy in easy walk

Forget Circus Circus, Sahara and Riviera unless you are driving. They are too far from the main part of the strip to walk every single time. Excalibur is the best bet on your list. You might want to check out Hooters. It is just a short walk off the strip, as far off the strip as the MGM Grand hotel, and not a bad property to stay. They usually have great rates.

Try Circus Circus or Excalibur. Circus Circus is still cheaper.

From your choosen hotels I would take Excalibur. I would also consider to stay at Monte Carlo, it has a nice location, good rooms and reasonable prices. Before you book I recommend to visit http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com/ - it has the latest promo codes for these and other hotels as well.

Those are actually some pretty good choices for a young couple coming to Las Vegas. Each of those Hotels have great accommodations and entertainment options. I will give you links to information on all four of the hotels,a nd you can check them out and compare them to see which would suite you guys best.

If you are going to rent a car (might be tough if you're under 25 though), then stay off-Strip for cleaner places with lower prices and less noise. For example, Palace Station.

Of those, Excalibur is the best because of its location near everything, decent pools and nightlife for people your age.

I would go for the Excalibur as it is the most decent on your list and in the best location to get to the places that you want to visit.
