Going to Las Vegas.. which hotel is better?
Excalibur vs New York New York. Trying to go for cheap. We're a young couple 22 and this would be the first time going to Vegas. We would like to walk around and see the other hotels and shops.
Also may wanna see a show or two.

New York New York and watch the show Zumanity
It's located right in the hotel and you can walk across to Mandalay Bay Luxor MGM GRAND Excalibur and Monte Carlo or walk up a few blocks to City center and Planet Hollywood

New York New York is so much better. The rooms are nicer and the atmosphere is better. The Excalibur is pretty old and I find that the casino literally stinks. Check out the prices at Treasure Island too it's pretty nice and has similar rates to NY NY and is located in a better part of the strip. More centrally located and close to Fashion Show Mall.

It depends. Excalibur is cheaper, yet doesn't fit the par when it comes to the quality of the room. New York New York is tad bit more expensive, but is better quality. Take your pick.

Excalibur is cheaper but NY NY is nicer. However if you are looking for a nice cheep hotel in that area you should consider Hooters. Sure is sounds tacky but its just as nice as any of the overpriced Strip hotels and is only a block away from where you are planning on staying.

nyny i just got from excalibur last week and it was a horrible experience room were dirty beds hard as a rock, so spend the extra $$ and do nyny u'll be happy

Venetian is the best: gorgeous casino, a shopping with a canal running down the middle including gondolas that you can ride and a wide range of restaurants that are reasonably priced.
