I have a question about Limewire and how to store/transfer all of my saved files to an external hard drive.
Ok. So I am running low on hard disk space on my computer and want to free it up for some more things. I am about to purchase a 500 GB external hard drive. How can I transfer all my existing Limewire files to the extrernal hard drive, and I want to know if they will act the same. Like showing up in the same "saved files" folder as they do now. Second of all, I want to know if I can burn a Limewire file to cds and dvds. Also, if the files are on an external hard drive, can I drag them the same way to iTunes for my iPod??

All you need is to locate the directory where you have saved your songs in limewire.Make a folder in the external drive and copy all the songs in it. Yes, you can burn limewire files to your CD's or DVD's using Nero or any burning software. You can still drag the files even if your files on the the external hard drive.

Copy the limewire folder and paste it in the external hard drive. Delete the files in the old one. You may have to do a bit of rerouting with itunes though.

In 'My Documents' there should be a folder with all your saved files from limewire so just copy and paste them into your external hardrive.
Should just be able to drag the files straight into Itunes, if not download a programe to convert them to mp4 format then do it.
