I need a hotel in NYC

I am coming into New York in late August. I usually stay in Times Square but for whatever reason the prices are insane right now. So where else can I stay in NYC that is safe and reasonably priced.

A tourist class hotel in Manhattan, that is reasonably priced, starts about $250 a night.

    Try the Hotel Belvedere

Depends on your defintion of reasonably prices. Nothing is reasonable in NYC. Prices are always insane...

An average 3 star hotel probably will range from 250-400$ a night. You cant find anything safe or clean for under 200$ a night anymore. And if you want something really nice, you are looking at min 400$ a night, probably more though.

hotel on rivington. niiiiiceee hotellll. im not sure about the reasonable pricing but its way better than being in time square with the mass crowds! its in the lower east side- perfectly situated around the best food ever!!! (further south u have chinatown, go west you have little italy, go easy, lots of spanish cuisines, go north, lots of middle easter dishes). great bars- indescribable night life!

Check out sites like expedia.com or priceline.com and read all the reviews - you should be able to find something.

Hotel Alexander is a no frills in great location.

Remember, you just need basics, and convenient to subway.

    Enjoy your trip!
