Why are Californians so stupid that they don't replace a legislature that wont do the job?

It's called "safe seats", the legislators have redrawn district boundaries to give the incumbent politician and advantage in re-election.

So there is no accountability, plus LA and SF are so liberal they determine the outcome for the rest of California, not to mention a flip flop governor that lost a special election and changed his stripes to match his cowardliness.

On top of that ignorant people vote for politicians that promise them gifts and prizes, and to raise taxes only on the rich.

The best thing that smart Californians could do is move out ASAP. They will never be able to change that government, but if all the smart, hard working Californians were to defect to other states, the government would implode upon itself. This would create a clean slate to build a truly functional government (after all the liberals moved to the New England states, Oregan or Washington).

She would not allow the drilling issue to even go to a vote. She wouldn't even allow the House do its job.
