How do you pronounce is?
I hear a lot of foreigners pronounce "is" with the "s" sound instead of the "z" sound. Do all versions of English pronounce it "iz?" Almost all I've heard do, but I was just wondering!

Yes, it's pronounced "iz." Foreigners are just saying it the way it looks.

for me it's iz it is people who do not speak English as there first language or do not speak it at all who pronounce it is because of the way it is spelt. Hope this helps
