Yes, and I reported it to Y!A in violation of the TOS (Terms of Service). If YOU, or ANYONE ever sees this link, AUTOMATICALLY AND IMMEDIATELY report it for abuse... click the "ILLEGAL" answer option, because it IS illegal to link to a virus site, and then, in the "explanation" box, simply say, "LINKS TO VIRUS SITE... PLEASE INVESTIGATE AND REMOVE THIS DANGEROUS USER... IT IS AGAINST THE TOS."

Y!A WILL take IMMEDIATE action... trust me... I know!

I'm just thankful I have software that protects me from these attacks!

I've had viruses sent to me in email - several times. You block someone and they morp into a new profile and start sending the hate mail again - I feel bad when someone who is legit emails me and I dont open it so dont answer them but better to be safe than sorry.

I often do research on a question someone is asking and post a link - example, someone was concerned about open heart surgery and recovery time in the past so did a lot of research for them. :-(

Yes, I did have that happen in one of my questions. I immediately reported the offender (so don't remember the screen name!) and then I deleted my own question so no one would click on the link. You have done a good deed by warning others here. I didn't think to do that.

Thanks for the advice.. would never have known it. However, I am one that puts links into my answers but only when it is to prove a point such as a song, recipe, etc. Never thought about having anyone worry about a link. Guess I have been naive. That is sad hey?

I only attempt to open links when I'm using the computers at the public library! This has worked wonders to keep those viruses off my home computer! I hope!

Someone has been posting this on a lot of different forums in Y!A. I never go to links when they are posted just in case of something like this.

Oh no...I clicked on it and it took me to the "oops" message.

I am really upset now, this is a borrowed computer...what have I done?

That is the last time I will open a link.
