Why would someone put gum on your shoes!? Was it on purpose!? I would ask her to pay for at least half of the cost of a new pair.

First, I would yell at her - "Did she do it on purpose?"

Then I would ask her to pay for it if it was on purpose but if it was an accident well then I would just take an apology. It is just clothes and she is your sister.

well if it was an accident and she appologized without you asking her to then i would probably just let it go and but a new pair my self but if she did it for no good reason and wont appologize i would make her pay me just becaue she was so rude about it

first of all, i would yell at her, then id make her apolagise and buy me two new pair of trainers. ( or put gum on something she likes) =]

i'd ask her to apologize, then i'd say, "look sis, please don't do stuff like this to me anymore. I love ya, and as sisters, we need to help each other, and look out for one another. It's ok and all, you don't have to pay, just remember that it's not worth it. Cause i'll always be your sister, so we should treat each other right. But i love ya, sis."

Make her try and clean it. If it wasn't done on purpose, I wouldn't make her ay, but if it was, she pays.
