    A retailer would sell the bill for anywhere from $2.00 for a bill in "good" condition to $15 for a bill in "Gem crisp uncirculated (65)" condition.

    If it's a $1.00 silver certificate the US Gov't will pay you $1.00 for it.

    (Somewhere around 1969 - 1971, the US Gov't halted redeeming them for silver)................................................
