Do I need a different wire canning jar basket for quart jars than I do for pint jars?

I've decided to put up quarts of peaches this year instead of pints. How do I get the quart jars to fit in the wire canning basket that I used last year for pint jars? Do I need a different one? If so, do I also need a bigger pot (boiling water canner) to fit it into?

I hate to be obvious, but take a quart jar and try it out and see.

The jars have to sit upright on the canning rack, while in the pot, and the water should be at least 1" (some say 2") above the top of the jar lids, and the water should not be all the way to the top of the pot (no room for a rolling boil and all that.)

If you can do that, you're fine. If not, buy new stuff -- it isn't all that expensive after all.

Mine holds both but I'm not sure if all do. Mine is one of those old fashioned black enamel ones. I just did pickles, both pints and quarts in one batch.
