Should I buy this 60gb PS3?
I found a refurbished 60gb PS3 at Gamestop for $449. After I trade in my PS2, the price will be about $390. I know they quit making the 60's, but my question is can I still get the updates from Sony on a 60gb?

Yea you will still be able to get your upgrades. Think about it......there people like myself who owns a 60GB ps3. Why would sony quit offering upgrades to the consumer who bought the 60GB when it launch. The 60GB is the best version it play your old ps1 and 2 games and of course it has everything from the 4 slot usb and the memory card slot reader....You have nothing to worry about and you still get the 1 year warranty from sony even though it refurbished.

Yes. The 60GB has the identical system software. You can stay updated with updates they release.
