what do u have to say about tatoos & piercings?

I think piercings and tattoos are a great form of self-expression and decoration. Many people think that piercings and tattoos are trashy, disgusting, or unhygienic, but there are plenty more who see it as a valuable form of art. On top of that, there are some piercings that may look great on some people and not so attractive on others, so it really does depend on the person.

I myself have six piercings at the moment -- a 0g and 12g in each earlobe, and both my nipples done at a 14g. I intend to get both my tongue and nose pierced, and get an industrial done on my left ear.

As for tattoos, I personally will only get one if it means something extremely important to me, and is a colorful but small design I can appreciate every time I look at it. Bare skin is the ultimate canvas, true, but it's also a beauty in itself.

D. some piercings are good. i have 5 ear piercings. i'm not a huge fan of facial piercings. some kinds can look really good on some people, but they're not for me.

i love tattoos, i have 3 and am getting a few more, i have always been interested in them. there is a such thing as too many, or bad placement, or if the work is bad, but mostly i really enjoy them.

I love tattoos & piercings.. I have 16 piercings ( 15 in ears & naval) I can take out my piercings at any time and they won't leave scars, that's why I opted to not get any facial piercings, I heard they leave scars. I have three tattoos all of which can be covered and reflect me. I don't like the tattoos that don't mean anything to you personally. Such as the superman tattoos & cartoon characters, they look stupid and you probably will regret them. My mother has a butterfly tattoo on her shoulder that says mom below it and has her date of death. She has had it for twenty years and she does NOT regret it and never will. I think people don't like tattoos because so many people get trashy, meaningless ones.

tattoos look good only on about 2 percent of the people that get them honest opinion. That means I think 98 percent look embarassing. Piercings never look good and i mean never. I cannot imagining having a girlfriend or wife with any piercings other than ears. And no, I am not a nerd.

I watched this programme yesterday about that sorta stuff and apparently if ur touge gets infcted after pircing you can get paralysed and have a stroke. And lip piercings have to do with the heart and stuff its really intresting.

I think tatoos and stuff are awsome and i want some but after that show i might not get them on mi mouth or in my mouth lol.

Overall i think its awsome but can be bullshit sometimes lmao.

tongue piercings and nipple piercings hurt heaps more after they're done then when they actually peirce you, tattoos depend on how big they are, how many colors you use, and where they are. The two black ones on my wrists didn't hurt at all, the black one on my upper back only sorta hurt and the colorful one on my lower back was hell, belly buttons don't really hurt at all (but they are kind of played out), mostly though it's up to your pain threshold....start with a peircing first, if that's too painful probably best to stay away from tattoos.....

I have a few (pretty big) tattoos.. and I love them. They represent a part of my life, of who I am, and they are very much part of me.

I think people should NOT take a tattoo if they only do it for fashion reasons. The chance that you regret it later is huge then. A tattoo is for life, and the choice should be well-thought over. .

Anyway, the ones I have will definitely not be my last ones :-)

Piercings are a different story, because you can remove them and your skin will heal. I've got a few piercings as well because I find them beautiful body jewels, and they have improved my sexlife. :)

I like piercings. I just have the double ones on my lobes & then one in my right cartilage. Body piercings are nice too, but I don't think I'm ever gonna get any. I AM going to get a tattoo though. Me && my boyfriend are getting out first ones together. I've wanted one for years =]

B. I'm getting a tattoo soon...and thinking about getting a piercing too. BUT, too many is ugly...on some people a lot looks good (Kat Von D) but on others it's trashy.

I have no opinion of the type of people who wear them. Even the excessive ones. I think that in excess they look ridiculous but again that is the piercings and the tattoos, not the people.
