Is There a "Breather" or a "Coffee Break"?
No! Yahoo! is BLOCKING certain posts. If you mention "Democrat" or "Obama," you should be prepared to get blocked.

It happens when your answer is deemed too long. It happens to me fairly regularly. My problem is I like to post facts and observations based upon facts. Here my friend, is how you get around this "Breather." You click review and everything appears normal, then you click submit and it comes up with the breather notice. Hit the back page on your tool bar or click edit, Grab the majority of the body of your text by highlighting it and then do a right click to "copy." Having copied that portion, then delete it from the page, and send it for posting. Once posted, find your post in the answers, click edit, and then paste the body of text you'd deleted. Then send it again. Works every time. Here's my warning to you. If you wait too long to do this, someone will flag you for having "reserved" a space and you will be fined 11 points for violating terms of agreement.

I joke that Yahoo’s “coffee breaks” are long because not only do they drink pure Columbian coffee but they go to Columbia to drink it! That poor little burro has a hard time getting up and down the mountain to bring those fresh coffee beans.
They take so many "breathers" that we should send them some asthma inhalers.
Seriously, Yahoo has been known for a long, long time for having a lot of glitches. They think it’s cute to put those “breather” or “coffee break” messages because they don’t want to admit “We’ve screwed something up again so you, the users, just have to learn to live with it.”
Welcome to YaHELL. I wouldn't doubt that they're using the excuse of glitches to block some of us on their "hit list."

Your absolutely right. Last friday during a "breather "I logged in from a different yahoo email and answered a question in the pets categories and it went through with no problem. Then I went back to my original post and with the original yahoo account and again Breather/coffee break. I guess its true what they say about the media. They are about and open minded as a dog chasing a cat.

It is happening to me RIGHT NOW! I have tried answering your question a couple of different ways mentioning the candidate's name and some interesting facts from a reliable news channel, and I keep getting the same response. You know it is a bunch of malarky b/c a computer doesn't need either breath nor breaks.

I don't think so. They let the question through, but censor it later if it is a negative comment about their great god Obama.
The "breather" or "coffee break" message is simple. They have made certain changes and have snafus that they're still trying to clear up. You see, Yahoo has this thing about trying to improve things that don't NEED improving, so they screw them up. Typical techno-geeks.

I am getting that message often.
It also seems to be the new default message instead of the old blocked message.
I have been blocked by quite a few of the extreme right posters.
Rev Cleophus was the last one to do so.
I guess their sensitive little egos are too fragile to handle real facts as answers.

The breather is "you are being blocked".
It is a high end word filter that is quiet complex...you just have to play to get past it...makes it fun actually.

They are tracking IP addresses. Any question comes from IPs that have had violations gets the coffee break message.
Too bad pagewash.com doesn't work on Yahoo since you have to sign in.

Absolutely, that is why there is still a spelling correction for the O name...when you say that O one you have above, the now mandatory spelling correction comes up as ABM which sends a prompt to the "editors"...think about it, this really happens.

Make sure your question doesn't have a percent sign in it. There may be other things that don't go through.
