Was anyone really surprised to see Rowdy back in the winners circle?
I said last week that he wasn't expected to do well at Indy and Pocono, so I wasn't surprised by his finishes there, but he'll shine for the last 15 races. That's one, I think he'll get three more.

Not I.
I've been thinking he'll get 3-4 more from this point, too.
Funny......a question at the beginning of the season asked How many wins do you think you're favorite driver will have this year. I said 4.
Go figure, I usually hate being wrong!!

I wasn't, I was thinking/hoping he would win #8. This really helps his momentum heading to the chase now:
Who going to WIN the road race Sunday?
Kyle Busch will go 3/3 this season on road courses (including the Mexico City win). He will be hungry after yet another Pocono disapointment, and is a very underrated road racer who has finished in the top 10 the past 2 seasons at the Glen.
Top 10:
Top 10:
1. Kyle Busch <-- He will want to make up for last week and has already won both the road course races he's been in this season.
2. Jeff Gordon
3. Tony Stewart
4. Elliot Sadler
5. Truex Jr.
6. Juan Pablo
7. Kurt Busch
8. Robby Gordon
9. Dale Jr.
10. Almirola
What team will have the most cars in the top 10?
JGR easily. Hamlin and Stewart had great runs last season, with Stewart winning...and this season they have those two back as well as Kyle Busch, and he's 2/2 on road courses this season including the Nationwide series so I think they have a very good shot of getting all three in the top 10
Source(s): Kyle Busch is a road course ringer! I know plenty of drivers who wish they were only in a 2 race slump. - 1 decade ago
No I wasn't surprised.
I was actually looking forward to seeing Jeff Gordon win this one though. I wanted a good finish for Kyle, Robby G, Jeff, Elliot and Tony.
I participated in a poll asking how many more wins will Kyle get ...and I also said three. So when I look at the results the teeniest percentage...like 2% said three more. Mustve been you and me. LOL
Source(s): Now if Robby won....then I would have been totally shocked. - TboneLv 61 decade ago
Nothing surprises me with Kyle since the day the Truck series changed the age minimum because he was beating 15 year veterans like they weren't even moving on the track. It always helps when your crew doesn't get run over by another driver as well. I'm sure he had a top 5 at Indy. And well Pocono they just came up short.

Nope. I believe he will enter the chase with 100 point bonus lead. Meaning he will win two more races before the chase begins.

Weather won that race for Busch He would not have stood a prayer against Ambrose if there had been qualifying and the 21 had not started scratch on the field. He did have to run the race and he DID win it but his performance was nowhere near that of Ambrose or Montoya.

Not really. The 18 car is definitely the one to beat for the championship this year.
3 STR8 N 08!!!

I wasnt suprised at all. After watching him this year I dont think there is any kind of track that he cant win at. He is on fire. 80 bonus points so far, drivers are going to start the chase almost a full race behind him if he keeps it up.

I thought he would do well, but I was surprised at the win. I thought Tony would take the win. I was expecting Kyle to be in the top 10.

Nope. I'm just pissed I can only pick a driver to win 9 times in Fantasy Racing. I'm almost maxed out with Kyle.
