What is the typing speed that is required for an office job?

And also the speed for 10 key? What WPM is qualifying as the best?

    I generally see the typing speed at 65 wpm. I've seen 10,000 for the 10-key (10,000 keystrokes per hour).

    When I have been tested for typing speed, 50 wpm is good and 60 was great. The number of errors is also counted, and that needs to be fewer than 5.

    I hope someone else knows about 10 key!

    Yeah, as long as your job doesnt invole having to type super fast. Like those ppl in a court room who have to type everything just said. But if u just have to type up documents or copy them and stuff, 30wpm is good enough. Also, the more u work there, the more likely u r to go up in speed :)
